Description
Spinning Process
The operation after dishing is the forming of the edge, which will allow the dished end to be welded to the tank body to support the internal pressure. During the hemming operation, the plate edge is formed by the hemming rollers, which move relative to the radius of the forming rollers. The two rollers turn and bend the material at the desired radius. This operation may cause the plate to laminate. The best quality machines should be powerful enough to perform the hemming with the minimum number of passes, resulting in the least thinning of the dished end.
Working Principle
1. First, the material is attached to the axis.
2. After that, the material is set to bend using the Center H and Center I buttons.
3. The C pulley moves up to support the material.
4. The hydraulic cylinder for the radius A setting is adjusted (not used unless necessary).
5. Proper bending is performed with the help of the Radius B and Radius F hydraulic cylinders.
6. After the bending operation is completed in manual mode, it is changed to automatic mode and the operation is completed in automatic mode. This is because the surface roughness of the flange part is reduced.
